I booked the North & South India trip with groupon and Indus travel was the one who did all of the travel arrangements. My travel was from 05/10/17 to 05/24/17. i must say Indus travel was very good in putting everything together i did not have any problem with the travel arrangements every time i e-mail them they will respond to me promptly my travel guy was Joseph and i am pleased with the way he handle all of the travel arrangements i had not problem with Indus travel.. I arrived in India and everything was wonderful the hotel, were superb. Our tour guide Vinod was very knowledge, caring and kind and he made sure everyone was comfortable.

My only disappointment was that we only had 1 day in Delhi i would have liked to spend another day touring Delhi and to see the SIKH temple or some of the Hindu temple.

Jane Richey and her sister, Sue Richey – hence known as the Gecko Sisters – have recently returned from a tour of Nepal. Here’s what they have to say about their Indus Travel trip:

Our overall experience was more than we anticipated. It was wonderful. We had a blast; confronting bizarre and exotic scenes (corpses being burned in fiery pyres along the river in Kathmandu), meeting people of an extremely different culture (ash-covered, dhoti-wearing ascetics, who posed with us for the attached photo), eating some great local food, enjoying our first-class hotel stays and taking in the sights, smells and sounds of the various planned activities. The elephant safari in search of tigers and one-horned rhinos was especially exciting. Our elephant was spooked by something in the tall grass and she charged ahead, bellowing and trumpeting, until her short-lived rampage was brought under control by our mahout. Although shaken up a bit, we were unharmed (unlike the poor elephants, who are so badly treated). The Nepalese we encountered were friendly, gracious and accommodating, greeting us with a bow of the head and hands held in a praying position. The rich and vibrant scenes in Nepal stretch from the bucolic rice paddies to the breath-taking Himalayas. It was an adventure of a life-time.

I did the Vietnam & Singapore tour. I loved it, the itinerary was well planned, the guides were knowledgeable. The booking process was a little complicated, difficult to reach them but the tour it self was great.

Quiet surprised to see all the bad press here. I have used Indus Travels twice now for two great vacations. One in Sep to Machu Pichu – Peru, and the other was a trip to India that we just returned from. They are very easy to use, friendly and knowledgeable, and the trips were amazing. Great hotels, guides, excursions and pricing will have me continue to be a customer for life for sure.
